At the moment, Anna is working on several projects. However, she spends most of her time writing about food science and nutrition and creating educational material for anyone interested in those subjects.
Her two main interests are:
- making basic scientific conepts relatable and understandable for anyone who is interested
- creating recipes that are not just easy to make and result in delcious food, but recipes that provide the reader with reliable information about nutrition.
To make basic scientific concepts relatable and understandable for anyone who is interested, Anna writes articles about a variety of subjects. (Examples can be found on the Publications page.)
Currently, she is also working on making videos with that same goal. Both the videos and articles are based on her background in Food Science and Nutrition. Additionally, she is working on adding content that is based on Space Exploration for which she relies on interviews with experts in the field.
Projects – Websites
Anna runs two websites, where she publishes the majority of her content; Truthful Food and Truthful Science.
On Truthful Food, Anna writes ”Because we like efficiency, we don’t add lengthy personal anecdotes related to each recipe. The text we add only contains information that we feel makes it easier for you to follow the recipe or provides you with information that helps you make well-informed choices about your food.”
In addition to the recipes, she also publishes related articles on Truthful Food. Articles concern ”Cooking and baking tutorials and articles with cooking and baking tips and tricks, Fun Facts about Food and food science and nutrition.”
In line with the more light-hearted articles about food and nutrition on Truthful Food, Anna publishes more in-depth articles about science on Truthful Science.
While working on Truthful Food, Anna found that a lot of the information about food and nutrition available online was incorrect or lacking. That, combined with her enthusiasm for science sparked the idea for Truthful Science. On Truthful Science she ”Creates reliable content that helps you better understand scientific concepts.” She does this by ”exploring the science behind Food Science and Nutrition and Space Exploration and discussing the fundamentals from several fields of study such as chemistry, biology, and physics. By learning more about core concepts and how to approach them, it will become easier to assess new information critically and in a scientific manner.”
In 2022, Anna is launching the Truthful Science channel where people with similar interests who prefer videos over articles can also enjoy her content on Food Science, Nutrition and Space Exploration.
